Breaking point 1
My absence from this space has been from breaking:
A broken car
Broken washing machine
Broken window locks
A breaking boiler.
A broken tibia.
Grind, spin, creak, snap.
And the world slows to a stuttering, shuddering stop.
Everything shrinks into pain relief, comfort, safety, the support of friends who shop and drive, care and check in, on not my leg, but his.
I can not tell you how it is to watch someone you love in pain they can barely endure.
Maybe you know.
Then the world shook and crumble, crack, smash
whole streets,
families
lives
homes
shatter.
They need pain relief, comfort, safety, the support of friends who shop and drive, care and check in.
How many people watch those they love in pain they can barely endure.
How can we know?
