I work with Gemma.  She is good at her job.  And quiet.  She doesn’t brag about the fact that she gets up in the dark to paddle (kayak) along the canal in the dark, even when she is terrified.

I wanted to have a conversation with Gemma for my podcast because I find her inspiring.  I love her story of how she hit 40 and changed her life from being a pub-kind-of-girl, to one who did triathalons even when she didn’t think she could.

I used to think that women who did that kind of ‘extreme’ stuff were made differently; more fearless, stronger, kind of super-women who I could never aspire to emulate.  But the truth is so much better than that, because Gemma’s courage and determination is like a beacon to all of us who think we can’t.

I hope you enjoy the conversation in the link above.
