Sniffing my way forward

I want a full not a busy life – what is the difference?

Ask ‘what if’ and listen for the answers

13/5/20 Using covid to help us re-write the story – Joseph Campbell’s Hero’s journey goes some way to helping us see lock-down and COVID-19 in a larger context so we can consider how we want to emerge into the world; what we want to leave behind and what we want to grow.

22/4/20 Bereavement – what it is, how to live with it and how to support other people, including children, through it.

15/4/20 ‘Guest House’ (Rumi) meditation – Rumi asks us to ‘welcome and entertain’ all our emotions and this is what we focus on.

12/4/20 Easter / Ostara Meditation – a time for fragile new beginnings. What is hatching in you?  We use the chakras to explore

10/4/20 Anxiety: what is is and how to reduce it – lots of practical tips and tools

8/4/20 Meditations on grief – there is so much loss at the moment, allow it to be with us is a way into deeper connection with our self and others

6/4/20 Understanding what stress is and how to reduce it using cognitive and behavioural techniques – a whistle stop tour of why and how to get your stress down to boost immunity against covid.

4/4/20 – Cocoon Meditation – We’re all in our nests, our cocoons, unsure of how we or the world will be when we get out so we need to be as tender with ourselves as we would be with babies.

3/4/20 – Being in the moment meditation – We all write stories about the future and what it might be, but actually this moment is where we live and it is the only place we can find peace. Use your body awareness and a guided visualisation to clear your mind and find ease.

29/3/20 – Family guided visualisation – to our own magical land where all is safe and well where a magical gift is waiting for you.

27/3/20 – Family Meditation – where do we feel our emotions in our body? How can we share them without being mean? What do we need when we feel this way. Body awareness and emotional intelligence for all the family, even the very young.

26/3/20 – Meditation and ease – a half hour meditation using body awareness and thinking about what freedom means to us at this weird time

22/3/20 – Meditation and soothe – Meditation, what it is and why it works with some simple breathing exercises
