Bereavement and Sadness at Christmas

Another year older…

I turned 47 this year.   I can no longer kid myself that I’m only half way through my life…I’m on the home run now.

I’m minded of T S Eliot’s poem Little Gidding which is the last of the Four Quartets:

We shall not cease from exploration
And the end of all our exploring
