deftly,
a master craftsman,
hollowing his back
as his claws reach,
shoulders stretched,
drawing down
paw
by
paw,
all might
and magnificence,
satisfied
at the stretching
of sinew
and the sharpening
of claw,
insouciant
nonchalance,
sleekly
furred,
adored.
