My mum died much too young and quite suddenly.  So I did what any normal person would do and also finished my 8 year relationship, and went off to Thailand on my own for 2 weeks.  I took a bumper packet of condoms and a book.  The condoms remained in cellophane well past their use by date, but the book was thumbed and smeared in sun cream and tears.

That book was The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle.  So when Steve Watts started to talk to me about the ending of his relationship and this book he has been reading, this guy he had been watching on Youtube.  I got it.  I did.  The book helped me find beauty in the sadness, acceptance in the pain.

So join me in conversation with Steve where he shares his experience of shifting into a more mindful present and how it is helping him deal with loss and covid.
